San Vicente Home Health Care is a nonprofit, Medicare and Medicaid certified home health agency. We've been serving the home health care needs of our neighbors in Silver City and rural Grant County since 1996.

Being ill at home or caring for someone who is ill can be difficult. Sometimes a little help is just what you need - help from people who are experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional.

Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans will pay for skilled home health care services, under the orders of your physician, for those having difficulty leaving the home. These include:

• Skilled Nursing,
• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Therapy
• Home Health Aide
• Medical Social Work

  Ask your doctor whether home health care services are right for you or your loved one.

Under your physician's direction our caring and professional nursing staff can provide assessment of your health status and of your health care needs; teaching about new medications or how to care for yourself or a loved one; giving injections, performing wound care, venipuncture, urinary catheter insertion; giving IV's and more.

Our physical therapists can guide you through recovery following orthopedic or other surgery, provide therapeutic exercises, set up a home exercise program, provide gait and balance training, measures to prevent falls and more.

Our occupational therapists can assess your home safety and adaptive equipment needs, provide therapeutic exercises, and guide your recovery with a focus on upper body mobility and adaptive function.

If you qualify for skilled services a home health aide can assist with personal care such as bathing, shampooing, or dressing, if needed.

Our medical social worker can provide assistance with long range planning and can identify available community resources to meet your health and personal care needs.
